Q3. Was the Pit playset successful enough to warrant another large sized base or vehicle?
A3. We are very pleased with The Pit but we don’t have plans
to release such a large scale vehicle in 2010. But we’ll definably look
at other options in the future.

Joe Battlelines
2-We seem to be getting a ton of
Dukes again But there are many characters that have not seen figures
from the classic RAH line to Spy Troops,Valor vs Venom as well as the
DTC line. Some of these include a Male version of Dial Tone,A Correct
version of Repeator,Lowlight and Lifeline just to name a few From the
RAH Line to Crosshairs, Barrel Roll,Blackout,Bombstrike,Maj. Barrage
and Munita from the newer lines. What are the chances we will see their
return to duty in the near future?Or the return of Sgt. Slaughter to
the G.I. Joe Ranks?
We plan on including fan favorites into the line in 2010…but it is too early to confirm specifics.

It's been a year and there are still many fans that have been unable to
aquire Alpine is there a chance that you could a.-Make him part of a
store exclusive or b.-Give him an updated apperance and make him part
of the Pursuit of Cobra Line? What about some of the other DVD
exclusive figures such as a Classic look Serpentor, Maj. Bludd,Quick
kick. Or some of the Figures from the defence of Cobra Island with a
Movie Era look?
Good news – we plan to release Alpine in a 2010 multipack in a classic look. Please stay tuned for news on other figures.

TNI: When will the new H.I.S.S. tank shown at
JoeCon be released and is it possible to get some updated images of it
released for this Q&A?

Hasbro: Generally speaking we do not release images of works in
progress, as details can change. We will be showing the new H.I.S.S.
Tank at Toy Fair in February when more details will be available.

2. What kinds of pairings will be in the “Then and Now” sets?

You will see classic of ring figures with what’s been dubbed as modern era figures.

3. How does movie continuity affect
the toy line? For example, since Cover Girl is dead in the movie, would
that take her off the table for a Pursuit of Cobra figure? What about
the Baroness being “good”?

We try to keep story lines as
consistent as possible to avoid confusion but we also try to stay true
to fans and the GI Joe lore. It’s all a matter of best judgment and
each character is looked at on a case by case basis.
